About Musical Truth: Behind the scenes

Founded in 1994, Musical Truth began with three friends—Aaron Keung, Kai Rapozo, and Jolene Kanahele—who came together to grow spiritually and musically. What started as a small gathering quickly became a ministry of harmony, healing, and heartfelt testimony through music.

Over the years, others joined the group, drawn not by auditions or professional credentials—but by pure desire to serve. That desire remains at the heart of Musical Truth: to uplift others and share the love of God through song.

With three albums released—There Is Peace, My Humble Prayer, and His Love—Musical Truth’s message has touched lives across Hawai‘i and beyond. They’ve shared their music at firesides, devotionals, and community events, including collaborations with BYU–Hawai‘i’s recruitment program.

To this day, Musical Truth believes that music is God’s language—a way to testify of Jesus Christ, to bring comfort to the soul, and to remind all who listen that they are known, loved, and never alone.

“Harmony is the only melody we should sing.”
